Description

This is an ESI robotic instrument built for accurate DNA spotting on a flat stage with accuracy of 3 um. The range of movement is X = 600mm, y = 400mm and Z = 200mm. Movement is by servo motors driven by ServoPac servo control modules installed within a computer. The driver computer communicates by RS422/RS232 with a mater computer or laptop running the ESI control software. The operating head could be a laser cutter, rotational tool or any other workpiece required but is not included. The headpiece can be easily bolted to the Z axis mount. Software and programming documents included.
