Good big dials, working castors & heavy duty cast iron parts designed to take HEAPS everyday use in a busy kitchen. The trivets are so solid compared to other brands. That is how you get the kind of reputation Moffat

Moffat gear is much sought after for kitchens because it has earned a reputation for toughness, durability and reliability. If you have worked in commercial kitchens then you know them, they are the industry standard. Also the spare parts team are amazing and just about everything we have ordered turns up the next day. They are the best people I have dealt with for spares

You can see from the photos that this one is in excellent condition and there is a reason why. These three came out of a cooking school so they have not had the abuse heaped on them by uncaring kitchen workers whose abuse is proportional to their indifference to the expensive equipment. These had trays that were carefully lined by tinfoil to keep them looking stunning. I presume the school also taught how to clean the hobs!

Made in New Zealand and that makes them brilliant. I got a brand new hob from an un-named country and the welds looked like a person with advanced parkinsons had done them and one of the welds was already broken. Imagine tack welding then walking away!

The North Island freight is to Main Centres - not rural. If you see sheep you are rural !! For the South Island ask for a price, to a Toll depot it is really good
