Food approved segmented gel-ice blankets specifically designed for keeping pallets, produce bins & cartons cool during transit or storage.

They lower the temperature faster and hold the temperature longer than ice. It has a weight/coolant comparison of approximately 2 times that of ice.

USFDA approved for foods and produce. Ideal for meats, fish, poultry and produce including fruits

SPECIFICATIONS

These packs out perform ice, in that they are clean, maintain a constant temperature whilst in transit and are re-usable.

Tests show that Thermogard Gel Ice Packs are more economical to use than standard flake ice. This comparison includes production, labour, measuring and handling by personel and equipment.

The Gel-Ice acts as a type of energy store. It absorbs chill in the freezing down period and releases it as required during the transit period. Therefore the temperature is maintained much more consistantly than other alternatives
