Huge format FDM printer. 1000mm X 1000mm X 500mm volume
I have owned this printer for 8years and have improved and tweaked everything to make it a very reliable big format printer for PLA. Custom spool position, extruder retrofitting, material sensor switch, fan cooling. Most importantly though it has a really good set of parameters to achieve reliable prints. Ive used it for pattern making for sand casting large engine parts like cylinder blocks, sumps etc.
Has a HFA HighFlow Extruder which is retrofitted and has custom modified firmware that was modified with the help of 3DPlatforms https://3dplatform.com/pages/extruders
Made in the USA Original price at $35k USD
I use Simplify3D and can provide all printer settings/files to print with 3mm PLA.
Comes with 3 (maybe4) new 3kg roles of White PLA Lots of spareparts, power supplies, extruders. Though a lot of these are the result of upgrades and developments so not needed.
I have finished creating all the big patterns I need and its taking up space in the workshop. Help to help get it up and running and get you comfortable with producing good parts. With it being so big its not a plug and play deal like BambuLab for example.
I can prep it to freight, it takes a bit of disassembly to be sure nothing is damaged. I shipped it from the US with no issue.

Hello, is it printing onto glass? When you finish printing, do you take the glass table off to remove the print or does that always stay put? Thank you diskocat (934 • 8:44 pm, Thu, 5 Mar )Yes its printing onto glass which is heated underneath. The heating keeps the part attach and also helps print quality. When you’re finished you turn off the heating and once cooled the part almost falls off. protopete (105 • Thursday, 5 March 2026 )Thankyou. Is the heater Matt glued or attached to the underside of the glass somehow? diskocat (934 • 9:09 pm, Thu, 5 Mar )Yeah the table is a sandwich assembly of aluminium plate, heater pad then top glass. Not just regular glass it’s borosilicate which is good for thermal shock and much stronger. You clock/level the table top with adjusting points all around. Once it’s dialed in it stays level enough during heating/cooling that you don’t often need to check the table. protopete (105 • Thursday, 5 March 2026 )
