PLA offers good strength and durability, but it doesn’t handle heat as well as ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). It can start to lose its shape at outside temperatures above 60°C. Additionally, PLA is not resistant to water or chemicals. When heated, it produces a faint smell, but it does not release any harmful or toxic fumes.
