Such an amazing experience - Movies, web surfing, Mac Virtual Monitors, even reading books is truely game changing, and the upcoming VisionOS 26 looks crazy good. The future is here, so much better than a 4K OLED monitor!

I normally always buy the smallest storage size with apple products and rely on iCloud storage, but with the Apple vision I would recommend the largest storage size you can afford because of the data speed necessary to load current and future content in VR in a way that doesn’t disrupt the experience.

Recent leaks indicate that the 2nd Gen model won’t have any redesign, but just a slight processor spec bump. Internet reviews like to tell us every time that the new versions of Apple’s flagship devices will be cheaper and come with free steak knives! Sounds wonderful, but has never been true, Apple doesn’t play by those rules sadly.

Likewise, a cheaper non-pro model appears to be a pipe dream for the foreseeable future.

Also personally never noticed the weight to be an issue at all, even over hours of use. Very likely worth getting ahead of renewed public interest when the new software launches shortly if you want one.

Will certainly buy another one later down the track, just for the Mac Virtual Monitor feature alone when I have more daily computer work to do, but for now this amazing device needs a new home to get the use it deserves.

Fully iCloud unlocked with no issues, faults or problems, just the same as one you would purchase from the Apple Store Australia.

Will be factory reset ready for the new owner. Collection and payment in person in Taupo preferred, but happy to ship. I also travel to Auckland and Wellington reasonably often and can potentially deliver in person if desired.
