The Pioneer Optical SuperDrive DVD writer does work, but often gets jammed opening, requiring a paperclip to open it. Might be fixable with lubrication.
Fresh install of El Capitan. Worth noting that El Capitan was not an officially supported OS for this model, and so I had to jump through a few hoops to get it installed. It's also unwise to perform any OS updates, which could undo the installation. A fresh install of the previous OS (Yosemite) could be installed instead without this issue, if you'd prefer.
Courier can be an option if buyer organises.
