This hard-to-find solid Red Beech stump slab was originally sourced from a certified South Island supplier for a premium hardwood project around 10 years ago. It served as a feature display in our showroom, with both sides already sanded and oiled — ready to be re-polished or finished to your own design.
Perfect for use as a coffee table, wall art, benchtop, or sculptural live-edge showpiece.
Condition & Drying
This slab was stored in a shipping container for the past 5 years (since the start of Covid) and has recently been washed. It requires re-drying before being used in any fine woodworking projects. Optional kiln drying to 10–12% moisture content is available for $150.
