The Konica Pop (also known as the C35 EFJ in Japan) is a cult-favourite 35mm point-and-shoot film camera first released in 1982.
Known for its vibrant range of colours (this one is bright red) and simplicity, it was designed for beginners and casual photographers, eventually selling over 1.5 million units.
Key Features: SpecificationsThe camera is essentially as advanced as a disposable, offering a "lo-fi" aesthetic that is popular for parties and travel. Lens: 36mm f/4 fixed-focus lens. Models made before 1985 feature the "Hexanon" name on the lens, which is often associated with higher quality. Exposure: Fully automatic aperture (f/4 to f/16) with a fixed shutter speed of 1/125s. Flash: A manual pop-up flash that gives the camera its name. Film; ISO: Uses standard 35mm film. It requires manual ISO selection (usually 100, 200, or 400) as it lacks automatic DX coding. Power: Requires two AA batteries, primarily to power the flash and the CdS light meter.
