The Nikon F100 was released in 1999 and was Nikon's most advanced non-flagship film camera, with almost all of the specs of the Nikon F5 in a smaller form factor. It features 10-segment matrix metering, full PASM exposure modes, 5 AF points, continuous shooting at 4.5 fps, ISO range from 6-6400 (25-5000 with DX-coded films) and shutter speeds from 30s-1/8000s and bulb. In addition, 22 custom settings let you customise the camera to your shooting style, such as enabling back-button focusing.

The Nikon MB-15 Multi-Power High Speed Battery Grip is included, and takes 6x AA batteries. It features a vertical shutter button, control dial and AF-on button, and boosts the continuous shooting speed of the F100 to 5.0 fps.

MAINTENANCE PERFORMED A common point of failure for this model is the film door latches which are made of plastic and break easily. The latch on this door was broken so I have repaired and reinforced it with a piece of machined steel.

APPEARANCE Excellent cosmetic condition with a minor signs of use. The film door is not sticky.

OPTICS Viewfinder and focusing screen are clean with a few tiny bits of dust.

FUNCTIONALITY All functions are working as expected.
