Description
Up for auction is a Pailard Bolex H16 film camera in excellent condition. The body is well-maintained, displaying minimal wear, and all functions are operational. The spring winds smoothly, and the motor runs and adjusts speed with changes in frame rate. The film counter runs accurately.
Although the camera has been mechanically tested using expired film, it has not undergone a full film test to assess image results. Purchased at an auction with the intention of being used for filming, it has unfortunately not seen any action due to time constraints so selling so it can be used for its intended purpose.
All three lenses (15mm, 25mm, and 75mm Kern Paillard) have been professionally serviced in June, including a full dismantling, thorough glass cleaning, and reoiling of helicoids. As a result, the lenses are in perfect condition. The auction includes the original leather case with a strap, along with comprehensive paperwork such as the manual and lens depth-of-field tables.
Complete with the Camera, lenses, cases, hand crank, and cadro prismatic focuser.

Will the camera have a take up spool when sold? None pictured. f***********c (150 • 1:53 pm, Sun, 26 May )Yes, can include one bradmcc1 (120 • Sunday, 26 May 2024 )Is the is the reflex model, or non-reflex model? In other words, when you look through the viewfinder, do you see directly through the lens? Thanks! a**********3 (55 • 2:45 pm, Sun, 26 May )I believe non reflex. As when you look through the view finder you are looking through the top lens on the lens mount but have to rotate that to the side position for it to be in front of the film gate if that makes sense. bradmcc1 (120 • Sunday, 26 May 2024 )
