Hi, have you used the older Garmin Basecamp PC software with this model? If not, does the unit interface directly with a PC (via the USB cable) to plan routes, download tracks, enter waypoints etc? All the handhelds we've owned were only ever used for creating tracklogs & waypoints to download & overlay onto maps etc so haven't had a lot to do with the basecamp software - I did however download the basecamp software last night after seeing your question and plugged one of my used 750t units in & it seemed to work - didn't play around too much, they were compatible from what I could see... fordy20 (96 • Monday, 6 April 2026
