The late Glenn Croft was well known in the industry for his amazing craftmanship and high end products.
This Series 4 power amp is a pure valve amplifier delivering a huge 100W of power. The Micro A pre amp is a masterpiece in itself, with two completely separated circuits, even down to the volume controls, the distortion and line noise is next to zero.

With military grade hardware used during construction it is big, it is heavy and it sounds fabulous.

In my ownership i have spent a lot of time with Paul Burgess of Vintage Audio Valves in Auckland working through tube combinations and settled on the above.

All the tubes were professionally installed and biased by a professional Valve audio specialist who also fitted an adjustable feedback loop controller to dial in and out how much rawness vs clarity you want.

I have since gone to a solid state system so this is no longer needed. Time to let someone else enjoy this masterpiece of a unit.
