Description
Two new listings from my collection, in case the Meze Liric 2 and the Hugo 2 are beyond your budget.
Next up is the Cayin C9 portable amplifier. It's an absolute beast: I've used it to drive the Abyss AB1266 TC Phi, which are some of the most power-hungry headphones you can buy. Also great for IEMs around the house or at work.
I bought this new from Moon Audio in September 2024, cost me NZ$3,500 + shipping and duty. Still in immaculate condition.
I will include a whole load of upgrades and accessories :
- Cayin official leather case (cost me NZ$100)
- Custom 12" Arctic Cables 4.4mm balanced interconnect cable (X8 20AWG Type-4 Litz UP-OCC Copper): see here for specs https://www.arcticcables.com/ac-store/Talos-V2-p467870946. I just got this last month and it really improves the sound (cost me NZ$300 + shipping)
- 4 x spare Sony VTC6 18650 batteries. This means that you don't have to power down the amp when your batteries run low, you just swap them out (cost me NZ$120)
- Nitecor D4 4-slot battery charger (cost me NZ$50).
- Travel tech pouch to fit C9 + DAP + spare batteries + IEMS (cost me NZ$50).
Also comes with all original accessories: a USB Type-C charging cable, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended interconnect cables, a small T6 screwdriver and spare battery module screws, a user manual, and a rear panel glass protector.
All together I spent over NZ$4k on this package so you can get yourself a real bargain here. Any questions let me know.
I've got quite a few items listed now so if you want to combine I can offer 10% discount on any two or more items bought together.
