Description
I've decided to go ahead and do a full recap on this unit. It works fine as is, however a recap will provide peace of mind to its owner, whether that's me or someone else. Being one of the 'better' Sansui receiver's it's worth doing to ensure longevity. For now this is NOT for Sale, will decide what to do after the recap, once I know what it owes me.
What a beautiful receiver! It's big, weighs 13+kgs and is capable of driving 6 speakers, as three separate systems or 2 systems together at a time. It has an amazing Tuner, picking up even faint signals. It's powerful as well, with 55watts per channel into 8 ohms.
Is it as good as the G-series? Quite Possibly. One reviewer who has owned a few G-series machines couldn't find a favorite amongst them, they are all good.
Going to let this run for 1 rotation to gauge interest, we'll go from there.
