Description
Can consider a Trade (plus of course) for a budget Dac/Headphone Amp.
Marco Manunta has been a recognised class leader in USB implementation, for many years. A number of Mnfrs over that time, have incorporated his designs in their own products. USB was never intended for Digital Audio – which is why, AES/EBU, BNC and now I2S, are often preferred connections in upper-echelon Audio.
DDC’s have become a must have for many – overcoming the obstacles USB presents, with Source data output. It gets technical but basically the Source signal gets ‘cleaned’ up and reclocked to output. They also act as Digital signal converters, providing more connectivity to your Dac.

Next level … Mr. 6 Moons :
“It’s why all three of my HiFi's use a Bridge not direct connection between PC/Server and DAC. I’ve not yet come across a DAC which didn’t benefit from an intermediary DDC”.
The DDC3 can be further upgraded with a dedicated PSU. We have one for sale (LHY Audio LPS 25)– refer other listings. Regret this item now sold.
Only DDC3 for sale here.
HFA also utilise the EVO Phono 3 (& M2Tech Nash) in their Vinyl Reference Systems.
