This NEC system is in need of some TLC. What works:
- Tape deck
- Radio
- Aux input
- Turntable mechanics
- Left hand speaker & headphones channel
What doesn't:
- Right hand speaker and headphones channel
- Electrical from turntable part - no sounds plays through unit with records
- No dust cover
Inherited this as "untested" and checked through the components. The turntable belt needed replacing, and needed a new stylus. I've added a brand new AT3600 cartridge and will include the original cartridge (actually at95e equivalent) but the original red stylus is a bit shot :)
Most all in one systems feature fixed turntables etc. but this one has a suspended chassis to minimize vibrations, and the ability to fit custom cartridges and adjust the weight.
Pickup only as it's a beast. Te Atatu Peninsula. Speakers, speaker cable, etc. not included.
