Purchased just over twenty years ago, not used for the past three years or so. Does not power up.

Minimalist one-box system with 75 (genuine) watts of power, from the legendary Scottish audiophile company.

Some minor marking on case. Comes with original remote control and two lengths of Astral Blue Space and Time loudspeaker bi-wire cable (well respected in its time), with Neutrik connectors for the amp end.

From Linn’s product material at the time: “An ideal solution for rooms of any shape or size because Bass and Treble controls can provide subtle adjustments to enhance accuracy with small loudspeakers, or when the Classik is being tailored to suit individual room acoustics.

“The Linn Classik is simple to operate via the front control pad and display window or with its remote-control handset and is powerful enough to drive any quality loudspeaker.

This unit worked fine for many years, and throughout its life, was used to drive high-quality Mission and Epos bookshelf loudspeakers.

For most of its life the input was a music server; I have never used the tuner and only occasionally used the built-in CD player. This played fine for most discs but stumbled on some scratched discs.

Selling strictly ‘as is’.

No box, so would prefer pickup. Happy to drop off to Matakana, Warkworth, Wellsford and Leigh areas. If you are prepared to wait, I can also drop off to inner west Auckland.
