These are the brand new Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones – Sony’s latest flagship noise-cancelling marvels. I bought them at full price, convinced I was about to ascend into audio nirvana. And to be fair, I did. The sound is phenomenal – rich, balanced, and detailed in ways that make you want to re-listen to your entire music library. The noise cancellation is on another level … audible annoyances, all gone. It’s like stepping into a quiet luxury bubble.

So why am I selling them? Because, tragically, the shape of my head wasn’t taken into account by Sony’s brilliant engineers. After only two uses, I had to admit defeat: the headphones are incredible, but my head is not.
