Time to say goodbye to one of my favorite turntables. (I actually have 2 of these in my collection) I have enjoyed for many years, tried different cartridges, always enjoyed the sound and the performance. It's a great looking turntable as well. Very tidy condition, almost mint. No cartridge or stylus.

The Luxman PD-272 is a 2-speed, manual direct-drive turntable released in the 1970s. It is highly regarded by audiophiles for its minimalist, elegant design featuring a wood-trimmed base and brushed steel plinth

• Drive System: DC servo brushless and slotless direct-drive motor to eliminate electromagnetic rotation unevenness.
• Speeds: 33-1/3 and 45 rpm with a ±4% fine adjustment range.
• Tonearm: Precision-engineered TA-1 straight tonearm, manufactured by Micro Seiki. It is a static balance type with an effective length of 240mm.
• Platter: 30cm aluminium die-cast weighing 1.8kg (including the high-density rubber mat).
• Wow and Flutter: No more than 0.03% WRMS.
• Signal-to-Noise Ratio: No less than 60dB.
• Manual Operation: Unlike its sibling, the PD-277, the PD-272 is fully manual and does not have an auto-return or auto-lift function.
• Stroboscope: Includes a mirror-reflex type stroboscope for precise speed monitoring.
• Build Quality: It is noted for its "gentleman's entry point" status into high-fidelity audio, offering precision without being overly complex.
• Serviceability: The control board uses discrete components (no ICs), making it easier for technicians to repair using modern transistors if speed issues arise.
