• That Philips model is a medium-wave (MW) AM-only receiver. That means it tunes roughly: ~530 kHz to ~1600 kHz (give or take a little depending on region). That’s still the same AM broadcast band used today, so: It can receive modern AM stations. It cannot receive FM.
