Turn boring drives into fun-filled radio adventures! It only takes minutes to attach to a solid mounting bracket with an SO239 base on your vehicle. These versatile antennas handle up to 200 watts PEP on HF Bands and 100 watts PEP on 6 metres!

Our Techoman HF/VHF Mobile Antennas provide lots of fun rag-chewing and DX'ing on the HF bands through to 6 metres VHF.

Each band operates as an electrical quarter wave with the antenna having taps for each band. The top whip adjusts total antenna height for SWR adjustment.

The Techoman HF-1 and HF-3 antennas change bands easily by moving a wire "wander lead" coil tap. Their two-piece whip antenna is also adjustable allowing fine tuning for minimum SWR.

For mobile use we suggest a rig with an Automatic Antenna Tuner for optimum results once the band has been selected for lowest SWR. Although you can change bands easily we suggest selecting a band and placing some PVC electrical tape to secure the "wander lead" in position whilst also covering each of the unused lead tapping sockets.
