Philips Natural 10 AC-DC model Z910 portable colour television set. It has a 9 inch screen, shadow mask (mind you, this is from before the Sony Trinitron aperature grill age) and in-line RGB phosphor pattern. It features an eight channel push button VHF tuner with a 'rabbit ears' antenna. Being an old telly, there is only a coaxial jack, so it doesn't have any audio-visual jacks to connect to a VCR or DVD player.7

With the switchover to digital television, some will have to keep a set-top digital to analogue converter box connected to this.

AC Operation (Mains Power) Plug the unit into a standard 240V wall socket using the original AC power cord.

The TV should automatically detect mains power and operate accordingly.

No manual switch is typically required for AC mode.

DC Operation (Battery or Car Adapter) Locate the DC input jack, usually labeled 12V DC or similar—often found near the rear or side panel. Use a regulated 12V DC adapter (center-positive) or connect to a 12V battery via the correct cable. Once plugged in, the unit should automatically switch to DC mode. Some models may have a selector switch near the power input—if present, toggle it to “DC” or “Battery.”
