SCPH-15000 model from Japan. These are completely different, inside and out, compared to the later models released outside of Japan.

As a Japanese unit, this requires 100v input not 240v. Must be used with a step down transformer. There are a few guides on the internet for modifying the stock power supply to accept 240v but the parts list will cost the same as a step down transformer so messing with AC input hasn't seemed worth it. Japanese power cable can be included by negotiation after purchase but will not be included by default. There used to be aftermarket power supplies available for these and I've been sitting on this one for months hoping to make a cool unit from it but I need to clear out some space.

This has been tested and confirmed working. The DVD tray sometimes struggles to open but this will just be a lube/adjustment issue. Laser sometimes takes a bit to load but it does load PS1 and both CD and DVD PS2 games. These early models are not compatible with the region free mod chips. Have also tested with FMCB and MX4SIO and confirmed these also work. Had to try a few versions of freemcboot before I found one to work so happy to help buyer with that.

Have changed the system language to English so it's ready to go.
