The Dyson Airwrap is powered by the Dyson digital V9 motor. This powerful 13-blade impeller spins at up to 110,000rpm, generating 3.2kPa. This allows the motor to produce adequate air pressure to create the Coanda effect.
The re-engineered Dyson Airwrap hair curler measures airflow temperature over 40 times per second, allowing it to intelligently control the heating element and keep the temperature under 150°C to prevent extreme heat damage to the hair.
