Thank you for viewing my auction and considering these NZ-made, design-registered footrests. I originally developed this product to help my late wife, who lived with MS. One of her challenges was fatigue, which sometimes made it difficult for her to continue walking during outings. Standard walking frames provided support, but when she needed to rest and be pushed, her feet would drag on the ground, making it uncomfortable and limiting our mobility. Existing solutions on the market were often prohibitively expensive, so I identified a need for an affordable, effective option. These footrests were designed to fit the most common walker or stroller with a 25mm tubular frame, as shown in the photos. They are easy to install—with no drilling required—and fold away neatly when not in use. By allowing users to rest their feet off the ground, the footrests make it possible to push them comfortably and safely, similar to a transit wheelchair (for use on smooth, even surfaces only).
