Properties: Antibiotic, anti-microbial, antiseptic, anti-viral, bactericial, expectorant, fungicidal, insecticide, stimulant, and sudorific.

Use: Used to treat pimples, acne, arthritis, bites, stings, burns, cuts, abrasians, fungal infections, worts and other skin conditions. Supports immune system as a stimulant, helping to increase the body's defense against invading organisms. Can be used as an inhalant for congested nasal passages.

Tea tree oil has the special property of being able to penetrate the skin to work on the tissue beneath, it's mildly anaesthetic and can give some relief from pain. Effective all-round first aid.

Safety: Low cineol conent, does not harm delicate skin. One of the few oils that can be applied direct to the skin. Non-toxic and non-irritant, but may cause sensitisation in some people. Use in moderation.
