Reviews I've used this brand for at least 2 yrs. I use it to help with gallbladder pain and sludge. They work for me as I've learned that they thin out the sludge in the gallbladder. I no longer have pain under my right rib, or pain going around to by back or upper right shoulder. Currently I take one pill 2X's a day after meals. When I started I was two pills twice a day. The pills are medium size, with a very bitter taste if there is powder residue on the outside of the pill. I hope to be able to stop taking them at some point

Great for Pancreatitis TUDCA has helped relieve the pain dramatically. According to a post on the Body Bio site by Dr. Thomas Wnorowski, TUDCA can be taken with or without food, but he recommends taking it with a meal to support absorption. According to Dr. Eric Berg, you should take it on an empty stomach. Who's right? I took TUDCA with and without food. I did experience mild stomach upset sometimes when I took it without food.
