Use ratio of 1 part yeast:1.25 parts GO-FERM Protect ®

Rehydrate yeast for 20 minutes in a small amount of filtered and/or cooled boiled water. Add the GO-FERM® Protect to the rehydration water before you add the yeast.

GO-FERM® Protect provides bioavailable micronutrients in the non-stressful environment of yeast rehydration instead of the traditional method of adding micronutrients to the must (wine). During rehydration, the yeast acts as a sponge, soaking up GO-FERM®’s nutrients.

The use of GO-FERM® Protect results in significantly better overall health of yeast cells through-out the fermentation, affecting fermentation kinetics and resulting in a cleaner aromatic profile.
