Tea Description: The Lapsang Souchong tea is a luxury black tea (special leaf lapsang souchong grade).
Cup characteristics: A smooth crisp character with the remarkable and heady aroma of a pine and oak wood fire. The infusion is bright and golden with reddish tones.
Country(ies) of origin: China.
Source: Imported from the Metropolitan Tea Company. Based in North America. In operation for more than 30 years and a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership.
Brewing suggestion: 1 level or 1 heaped teaspoon per cup (depending on strength desired and whether milk is added). Infuse for 3-7 minutes according to taste.
