I already have one of these and bought this thinking my family would want to use it, but they don't.
Mine gets a lot of use, cooking rice, stews, slow cooking, and pressure cooking, and I use it a tonne for the sous vide function (custard for ice cream bases, fresh yoghurt overnight, turning sweetened condensed milk into caramel, and obviously doing meat etc.)
Pressure cooking is awesome for tough meats. It speeds up lentils too.
This has a fully automatic steam release - you never have to touch it. You can also set different pressures depending on what you want.
I also massively prefer using stainless steel over non-stick. I find stainless easy to clean and it means I can use meat with the bone in, tongs, a fork, whatever, and not worry that I'm scratching the surface. I sometimes put the stick blender straight into mine to make soup.
