At last, a way to refill your Sodastream machine for 60% less than the cost than over the counter cylinder exchange system.

The "Soda-Mod NZ" allows you use a Paintball type C02 cylinder in a Sodastream machine.

However, as you know, where they get you is in the cylinder refill cost.

Typically a 400g Sodastream cylinder will cost $25 to refill exchange.

To refill a standard 12oz (340g) Paintball C02 Cylinder is $10. Paintball cylinders are refilled in sport shops or PaintBall stockists (Hunting & Fishing, GunCity.

What Sport shops use for Paint Ball cylinder refills is C02 type 214, which is classed food grade and is the same grade as used in Beer & Beverage making. The other food grade C02 is type 245. All the other C02 types 131, 0344. 013, 169, are use for lasers, refrigerant, instrumentals, & welding applications (in that order).

The Soda-Mod will fit both small and large Sodastream machines (NZ and AU models) and were especially made to match the unique thread size of NZ/AU machines.

The Soda-Mod is machined from lead free brass and will last a lifetime. Made in USA.

The only model that you won't be able to use the Soda-Mod is the Pure, only because the 12oz paintball cylinder won't fit in the case. If you can source a 9oz Paintball cylinder, you can use the Soda-Mod.

Soda-Mod NZ comes with full instruction (quite easy) and an allen key to adjust the Soda-Mod valve to activate the cylinder valve once its screwed on (a once only adjustment).
