Description
Rose and Heather Pacific Kauri desk 1400mm x 760mm. I purchased it new about 45 years ago. The top is held in place by dowels, so the desk is easily moved in 3 parts. The photos were taken in a mix of daylight and "warm" artificial light, hence the variation in colour. The first image is close to actual colour. One of the rear panels is loose (shown in the penultimate photo) but in excellent condition. It will be a simple matter of taking the top off the pedestals and refixing the panel. I could do it myself but do not have help to life the top off. The top was damaged by a removal/storage firm about 20 years ago. They had the top repolished and now the damage (shown in the last photo) is very hard to see except from an oblique angle. Included in the sale is a sheet of glass to protect the desktop. This is a very beautiful piece of furniture and I am selling it only because it is too large for the apartment to which I have moved.
