Description
Two balls of cotton string.Unsure of the length but I would estimate at around 100 metres. Cotton is fantastic to use in a number of ways.
The most common use is in the garden. Far too many people use plastic string. Plastic string gets cut at the end of a plant's life and usually ends up in your garden and will be there for a 100 years. Also it has no give and frequently can cut into and kill a plant as it grows.
Cotton is a natural material, and when you cut it, like the plant it will just decompose, and become part of your soil.
Many people use cotton string around the house for tying things up, parcels etc. Always useful, and white always looks nice in the house.
As kids we would whip it on our tennis racket handles to give good grip when you get sweaty as it absorbs moisture.
