Description
Dichroa Summer Skies superb star blue flowers. Looks similar to an hydrangea but it is evergreen with bold leaves in winter, grows up to two metres tall, and has big heads starry flowers over many months during summer and autumn. Flowers more prolifically than a hydrangea over a long summer and autumn season. It is frost hardy and grows to about 1.5 m tall and wide. Does best in full sun to part shade. Prefers good soil. If the soil is poor, add fertiliser and lots of compost at planting time.
Plants are around 10-15 cm tall and potted in 9 cm pots. Mostly single stemmed and some branched as shown in photos.

We are unable to combine shipping for separate orders. You can add tubers, dried bulbs and seeds to potted plants at no extra shipping cost.
You can search within the Store by category - e.g. perennial, flowering shrub, fruit trees, climber, berries, ferns, grasses and flaxes and seeds as well as by name such as dahlia, peony, rhododendron and hydrangea. No refunds on discounted items which are sold as found. Read the listing information and choose carefully.
We do not ship to Great Barrier, Waiheke, Stewart, Chatham and other offshore islands.
