Watermelon Sugar Baby (Citrullus lanatus)
You are buying approximately 30 x seeds of Watermelon Sugar Baby.
A very popular small round and sweet dark skinned watermelon, it is perfect for summer treats.
The pink flesh is mouth-watering, flavoursome and not too seedy, while the rind is quite tough and resists cracking.
An awesome eating size and always tasty, it’s an ideal snack on a hot sunny day.
Tips:
Germinate the seeds in seed raising mix, then transplant seedlings to a sunny and well-drained position approx. 1m apart.
Typically germinates in anywhere from 5-12+ days under favourable conditions.
Best sown late spring and early summer.
Maturity typically approx. 80 – 90 days from transplant.
