My wife wears 2 hearing aids, and we have become quite good at testing out new models in the market place.

We sell on Trade Me , yes to make a few Dollars (We are both in our 70's), but also to save people the exorbitant prices we pay in NZ, despite a Government subsidy. When no one could help my wife with her hearing and the only suggestion was an unaffordable $4000 for new NZ hearing aids, I looked overseas. Millions of people in Asia are deaf and poor so how do they get on?

There is a huge industry making very good Hearing Aids at very low prices. The company that makes this model makes thousands of hearing aids a year!

Completely digital, you plug in when you go to bed like your mobile, and it is fully charged by next morning.

There are a number of in-ear attachments, (Like small upside down unbrellas) You need to stop any sound coming into your ear at the same time it is coming to the microphone in the hearing aid. Otherwise you get whistling. You just try out the attachments until you find the one that completely seals your ear against outside noise.

We are not Hearing Specialists, but users and our advice is only our experience, but we have now sold a large number of hearing aids 1n NZ.

We have only had to replace two that did not seem to be working, but I think the wrong attachment was used.
