Champagne colour Moissanite Diamond Stud Earrings in solid 925 Silver. The stones are authentic moissanite. The stones are absolutely stunning but very hard to photograph as they kept picking up the colours around me and blurred due to their amazing refraction.
Moissanite is naturally occurring silicon carbide and its various crystalline polymorphs. It has the chemical formula SiC and is a rare mineral, discovered by the French chemist Henri Moissan in 1893. Silicon carbide or moissanite is useful for commercial and industrial applications due to its hardness. It resembles a traditional diamond and is very popular for this reason.
The earrings are platinum plated to help keep them super shiny.
Each stone measures approximately 5mm in diameter making it approximately .50 carats. The combined TCW being 1.0 carat.
The earrings combined weigh .70 grams.
Brand new with tag.
They will arrive in a lovely presentation box.
