A-Z of animals as they understood them in 1802 (some interesting discrepancies compared to what we know today).

The only other example of this book we have found (online) had black and white pictures. This has had every animal coloured in (unsure if by plate or hand).

A fascinating book with some fact and a touch of imagination...Eg. The domesticated orangutan wearing a bandanna.

Overall in good condition for a book that's 222 years old.

The cover has some marks on the front and back but the binding is strong.

Some pages on the opposite sides of pictures have had some ink bleed onto them but still perfectly readable.
