This is what they say, “This Yamaha U3A was built in the mid 1980’s, during Yamaha’s Golden Age of piano building, when all of the manufacturing took place in Japan, and by the very best craftsmen. The materials used were of the highest quality, and so the pianos from this era are famed for being highly durable, retaining their quality for many decades.
The U3A has a warm sound overall, with a rich bass, a sweet middle section and a pearly quality in the treble. The action is medium-heavy and quick, helping to make all passage work really smooth and easy.
Overall, it is a highly versatile instrument suitable for students and professionals. It has been maintained and tuned to the highest standards, and will give many more decades of good service in the future.”
