Fifteen years ago, Bob Parr (voiced by Craig T Nelson) was one of the big names in the world of super heroes. As Mr Incredible, he fought evil and saved lives like it was going out of style. Then, to protect him and his family from a ingenious villain, the Witness Protection Programme relocated him to the suburbs where he has been living a quiet, normal life with his wife, Helen (Holly Hunter) - once known as Elastigirl - and their three kids, Violet, Dash and Jack Jack.

Bored and out of shape, Bob misses the good old days and wants to get back into action. It looks like he has his chance when he is summoned to a remote island for a top-secret assignment. But is the situation everything it seems to be?
