Eight months later, these gallant, heroic troops were finally rescued after enduring the onslaught of unending, crippling attacks from Rommel's Afrika Corps. The "Rats of Tobruk", like the gallant heroes of Kokoda and Gallipoli, are remembered and honoured in this film archive of a proud period of Australia's military history.
