Such great concert recordings should not be missed. First, you see the director (conductor and organist) cooking and eating in true to life with his artists and in his private garden, it seems, in Vendée in France, then vocal and concert recordings will be shown from a concert at the Chapelle Royale of Versailles, a venerable baroque church that - how could it be otherwise - is occupied to the last place.

It's great how all the young artists sing, how they are encouraged by their older, world-famous and experienced conductor, how they all admit the close camera or almost integrate it into their playing! The image is then drawn rather softly so as not to overwhelm anyone. Here you can see how it can be done so that everyone, artists, spectators and spectators, can benefit from it in later times and yet everything remains as up-to-date and alive as it sure once was, in 2003. So really a wonderful EXPERIENCE, of course also from the musical side! And finally, there is a group of inspiring works here that is musically very experienced and motivated and is able to convey it to the audience as a matter of course.- All great!

By the way, the works are also sung, they are not only instrumental, which you don't get to know exactly when you read the package information. The composers are not necessarily that well known and may once again show the everyday world of Baroque before our eyes and ears...
