Michael Caine is Philip Kimberly, the former head of Britains MI6 who previously defected to Russia while leaving behind a list of KGB agents operating inside the UK as insurance. Years later, the KGB performs radical plastic surgery on Kimberly and sends him back into the UK for one final mission; to retrieve the vital documents.

However, with documents in hand Kimberly begins a dangerous game of intrigue and deception. As the final pieces fall into place Kimberly plays MI6 and the KGB against each other with deadly and startling results.
