Australian country superstar and multi – ARIA award winner Kasey Chambers might be the best known of the clan thanks to years of hit albums, but the musical urge can be traced directly back to her father Bill and his father before him.

So after years of making music together from their days touring the outback as part of the The Dead Ringer Band and monster success of the recent #1 'Rattlin Bones' album with husband Shane Nicholson, it was really only a matter of time before the pair roped in the rellies to make a new family album – Kasey Chambers, Poppa Bill and The Little Hillbillies.

The album is made up of 16 songs and was recorded by Kasey and Bill Chambers and the Little Hillbillies (Talon, Arlo, Eden, Skye, Béla, Jake, Tyler, and Townes) and produced by Nash Chambers and the Chambers family.

After writing 16 original songs - half of them crafted together - in a wide array of styles reflecting their musical roots, the pair assembled three generations of the Chambers family at brother/son and producer Nash's Foggy Mountain Studio to record. And writing the gorgeous accompanying book has been a dream of Kasey's since her first son Talon was born 7 years ago. The idea of the story and characters started back then and have grown a little each passing year," Kasey says.

This gorgeous package is available as a CD sized hardcover book and includes the full album in an internal sleeve.
