In addition to the touch sensitivity button (light/normal/heavy) the player can definitely produce varying tone intensity by applying increased or decreased weight (refer Manual pages 8-9 “Sounds and Effects”).
In response to a question regarding “built in rhythm options” I suggest you refer to the manual.
