Meet Spot, a stunning 6-year-old black German Shorthaired Pointer x black Lab, born on September 12th, 2019. Intelligent, loyal & energetic, she loves adventures, scratches, water & playing fetch!

Makes a great guard dog, being protective and alert. Can be wary of strangers, especially at the property boundary & people entering the property. May require patient introductions to new people but is generally very obedient. Knows general commands & how to high five. Good on a lead & going for walks. Generally submissive towards other dogs.

Up-to-date on all medical care, including flea, worm & vaccinations. No known health problems. Spayed, registered, & microchipped. Currently fed a diet of wag dog roll & a variety of biscuits, she does get sick of the same ones so have to change flavors regularly.

Sadly due to change of family circumstances, Spot needs a new loving home with a securely fenced yard & someone who understand her needs. Is good around kids, but may nip when overexcited, so a family with older kids or dog experience would be ideal. Currently accustomed to sleeping in a kennel at night.

Prefer a home without smaller animals as due to her breed she has a high hunting instinct. She is ok with chickens but they are in a fully caged area behind a fence. She is fine around bigger stock like sheep, horses & cows. Not sure about cats, she was good with ours before it went missing & we haven't got another so it since so been a while since she has interacted with one, if its a bossy cat she would be fine as long as it was a supervised introduction. She is keen on hunting possums & rats and gets overly excited about this, we don't go very often but if it was something regular she would be great at pest control.
