Description
3 years old
Olive is pure sunshine on a rainy day – a pint-sized poppet whose happiness is contagious, and just a glance from someone is enough to set her tail wagging. This 2-year-old is zesty, affectionate, and joyful. Confident and people-loving, she handles busy cafes and social environments with ease.
Born with a congenital issue in her right hock, Olive underwent amputation to relieve pain, and she has bounced back beautifully. Resilient and upbeat, her three legs don’t hold her back – while long hikes may not be her style, she loves daily walks of around 30 minutes, sniffing, exploring, and soaking up her surroundings. She thrives on short bursts of mental stimulation, travels beautifully in the car, and is polite and well-mannered when meeting other dogs on walks.
Olive can be bouncy, so a home with school-aged children is preferred. Once she’s had her walk and mental stimulation, she settles quickly and becomes a calm companion. Super intelligent, she responds very well to training and already knows a few basic commands. She is crate-trained and very clean indoors.
She is currently in foster with two other greyhounds on the West Coast, but her forever home can be further afield for the right match. Olive is not suited to a home with cats.
Olive will bring a little spark and a lot of love wherever she goes.
