Piglet is a 3 year old desexed female Sharpei x American Staffy. She was rescued as a 9 week old abandoned pup and rehomed to us via Hastings pound. We are looking to rehome Piglet as she and our older female dog have started fighting. Apparently this is a thing that can happen when the younger female dog gains full maturity and challenges the older.

Essentially we think Piglet would be best as the only dog / only animal in a home as an exceptionally effective guard dog. She loves her people and would protect them.

She has grown up with older kids (mid teens up) and has been good with people, but she is not to be trusted with cats or other smaller pets - she has killed feral cats that have come onto our lifestyle block. She can jump up when excited, but loves cuddles and attention.

I think she would be the best companion for a woman who lives alone who wants to feel very secure and to have very loving company.

Located Sanson, Manawatu. Can potentially bring her to Wairarapa or Wellington.
