2 years old
Waffles is a 2.5 year old female lab/mastiff x. Info from her foster mum: Waffles came into foster care quite anxious about life, but she has blossomed into a playful, smoochy character at home. But still struggles with being a little worried when out and about. She thinks parked vans are quite sinister and to be avoided, she doesn't like the hustle and bustle of a busy main street. She loves walking in quieter areas, away from traffic, so the beach, bush, or board walks for Waffles please. At home she is happy as. She has met a few kids and really seems to gravitate towards them.
Waffles does love her daily walks and can go for as long as you would like to walk for, but she is also happy with a nice sniffy 30 min walk. She is not a high energy dog, she will chase her toy for 3-5 throws and then she is ready for a belly rub.
Waffles is good with dogs and has made a few doggy mates that she will walk calmly beside.
Ideal home:
Owner is a homebody and would enjoy a constant companion, if you are folding washing, Waffles is there, if you are in the garden, Waffles will be in the garden.
She would love someone that is home most of the time, working from home or working part time.
A home without cats is preferred.
Waffles is still a work in progress and needs continued structure, exercise and development of her confidence.
Waffles favourite hobby is sleeping, napping and snoozing on the bed, sofa or armchair. New home must be ok with dogs on furniture as it's Waffles' happy place.
